Dear Prayer Partners,
We are excited to share our recent mission outreach to Liberia with you.
In February, our team, Raymond (from the United States), Rimam (from Nigeria), and Fred (from Ghana) travelled to Liberia. They joined Johnson Kamanda, our National Coordinator in Liberia, to proclaim the Gospel and demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways.
We preached the Gospel in City of Christ Community, Fendell, Louisiana Township, and several responded by accepting Christ as their Lord and Saviour. After preaching the Gospel we attended to a pressing need – many of the children lacked basic school supplies: no proper school bags, no books, and few materials to support their education, including shoes. For some, these simple items stood as barriers to
consistent schooling. Sadly, this is the reality in many regions and
communities, because of economic hardships and limited resources
which often prevent children from attending or thriving in school.
Compelled by compassion, the team responded – school bags, notebooks, shoes and essential learning materials were distributed to
the children. Raymond also had the privilege to preach in a local
church there, strengthening the congregation and encouraging
leaders in their faith and mission.
We are grateful to God for His grace and faithfulness throughout this
journey.
As we look ahead to continue reaching more communities across Liberia, we ask you to join us in prayer:
- That the Gospel will continue to take root and spread throughout Liberia
- That those who have received Christ will grow in grace and in the knowledge of God
- That local churches will be strengthened and equipped for lasting impact
- That doors will open for further outreach into under-served communities
