We are thrilled to share with you God’s transformative work in Nigeria through the Hope Haven
Water project.
As part of our commitment to reaching out to communities in Nigeria with the Gospel of Christ, we were moved by the needs, one of which is clean water.
Clean accessible water, a fundamental necessity, is often a scarce item in many parts of Nigeria. IOI has helped provide water wells for several communities in the North-central part of Nigeria, where this need is most prevalent.
In 2006, IOI received a generous donation, an ultra-filtration water machine, the first of its kind in Nigeria, and all of West Africa. This incredible gift marked the beginning of our water factory, a beacon of hope and health in our community and beyond.
For over a decade, this machine has been the heart of our operation. It has tirelessly purified water for the residents of the Kwang community, where the Haven of Hope is located and beyond. Every day, individuals from the community come to the Haven of Hope, our central hub, to collect fresh, clean water. Beyond this direct community outreach, our factory also produces sachet water in 50cl sizes, which is sold within the city of Jos.
What sets the Hope Haven Water factory apart is our mission-driven approach. Unlike commercial
ventures, our primary goal is not profit, but reaching out to our people. We offer our water at a price
significantly lower than market rates, ensuring that clean, potable drinking water is accessible to all,
especially those who struggle to afford it.
