School Construction Update
Dear Prayer Partners,
We are excited to share the latest update on the Haven of Hope Academy (HHA) school construction.
In our last update on the school construction, we reported that the construction team is working on plumbing, electrical installations, internal and external plastering, and fixing of doors and windows, after which they will proceed to tiling, networking, and painting. We are glad to report that there has been significant progress on the work. The internal plastering is 100% completed. External Plastering is 95% completed!
Most of the important safety features, such as handrails and support bars, are now installed across all the floors, making the building safer as we prepare for full use. The tiling work is nearly complete, and the electrical systems, including wiring and lighting, are also wrapping up, making the classrooms a good learning space. Ceiling fans have been installed in some of the classrooms, and preparations are ongoing for lights, switches, CCTV cameras, and networking systems to follow. To make part of the building usable, the second floor has been given a provisional painting, and temporary furniture has been moved in.
Classes are currently ongoing. With the completion of the second floor, the school
was able to admit more students, to accommodate the number of students who sat for the entrance exams, which the old school building was not able to accommodate because of space constraints. We thank God for the progress made on the school building construction. We are grateful for God’s continuous provision for His work. And we hope to get everything done soon.
